How does coaching work?
Assess
We will get to know your food and body story, your past attempts to change your habits, and your current approach to food choices.
From there, we’ll determine an approach to get you to your goals. Your plan meets you where you are at.
Prepare
A unique aspect of this coaching experience is the focus on preparation. You’ll take the important steps to prepare your environment and your mind so that you are primed for change.
You’re set up for success at every stage.
Act
Rather than trying to change many things at once, we focus on one thing at a time.
This builds confidence in your ability to change, and we continue moving stepwise in the direction of your goals.
Measure
We decide which metics are most relevant for your goals: Frequency of binges? Degree of pre-occupation with food? Instances of identifying hunger? Minutes of joyful movement?
Tracking these metrics over time helps you see progress.
Adjust
We look at what works and what doesn’t so that we can adjust our plan. We stay curious, compassionate and non-judgmental throughout.
The plan evolves as you grow—we focus on the process over the outcome.
Achieve
We celebrate each win along the way. We also don’t take shortcuts, so when you achieve your goal, you’re equipped with the tools to stay there.
